In Loving Memory of Sterling “Butch” Rahe

ANGELS Outreach Ministries is sad to report the loss of someone whom we considered family. We’ve learned of the passing of TFRD Firefighter Pvt. Sterling “Butch” Rahe. Butch was also a paramedic, public information officer, and long-time supporter of ANGELS Outreach.

“It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we regret to inform you of the sudden death of our brother and fellow Firefighter/Paramedic Sterling (Butch) Rahe. We are working with Firefighter/Paramedic Rahe’s family to provide support and any assistance needed. Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Information on funeral services will be provided when available.” ~ Toledo Fire and Rescue Department statement on the passing of Sterling (Butch) Rahe

 

 

As the department’s Public Information Officer, Butch was the face of the department and worked with local media outlets to bring stories to the public. He was kind, compassionate, humble and constantly went above and beyond for ANGELS Outreach.

 

 

 

 

 

He knew how much ANGELS Outreach means to our founder Lisa and made certain to capture important moments like the image of Lisa praying for Toledo with the chiefs of both the TFRD and TPD.

Butch was a wonderful person and he’ll be greatly missed.

An Evening with ANGELS 2023 Fundraiser

Join us for an Evening With A.N.G.E.L.S at Tamaron Country Club, 2162 West Alexis Road on Thursday, September 21, 2023. Doors open at 5:30 pm, program begins at 6 pm.

Tickets are $35 for single admissions, $65 for couples. Ticket price includes entrance to the event, 1 wine glass, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, live entertainment, and many donated baskets that will be raffled off. Event hosted by Katie Maskey, Mrs. Michigan All-Star United States.

*A.N.G.E.L.S. Outreach is 100% donation funded, there is no paid staff, only Volunteer A.N.G.E.L.S.

Members of the Toledo Police and Fire Departments, Lucas County Sheriff’s Office, and Ohio State Highway Patrol help ANGELS Outreach to deliver the food baskets we prepare for families in need every Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
